Colour Part two : My Experience of observing the use of colour and the effects it has on our mood.

In this particular Photo are a representitive of these choice of colours make us feel. I have looked at the psychological effect that colour has on the brain in regards to our emotions how we think feel and act.

Colours

I focused on parts of coventry froma birds eyes veiwng of over looking the town. From my observation and quite thinking "the rusty, withered dirty grey building are firmly planted in the soiles of its 50 year old foundation. The building are scattred amongst the natrual tones of the modern building. But still coventry appears bleak, old in age.
The views from my "preceptual vision" sees it as distasteful and rugged.
Only fragments of priceless history and archticture still remains. Although coventry is situated in the heart (middle) of England and seen as the country side, from a birds eye view of Ikea it is displayed as a "concret jungle". I have yet to discover the pure true sceneires of coventry and the beauty of its organic colours.

No vibrant colours that stimulates the mind is evdident in this particular photo apart from the vechicals, the majority of them are grey, silver or black this use of colours can been seen as depressing and glooomy. However the buidling that i am veiwing . The primitive colours emitts a colbalt blue and mustard yellow. Lurring you tot he object which is the ikeas buildiing.

Dose our life appear to be grey , hazy and dull?
What has happened tot he beautiful colours that once enriched this part of the world. The colours that God has created in its organic form has is it been replaced and lost by man made interventions?
Mans use of colours when it comes to acchtecture is quite donting and dull . Not as exciting as to the fire works of the mind dont you think so ?

Explored Theme : Repetiton

These various images dipicts the daily routine of soceity and their life style.Highlighting my observations and discovery on that particular day and looking at the possiblites of how to incoperate it in our piece through pedestrian movements

Eden: Dance Reveiw

Eden
Dance Review
The performance that I viewed was unconventional, I have never experience such dance piece before. The audience enters into the performance space walking around various dancers that were displayed as sculptures wrapped in plastic sheet, “sculptural movement” the various combinations of swings and jump and matrix appeared animalistic. As if they were creatures moving in a forest. The atmosphere had a cold naturalistic environment as if nature was being brought into the studio space. The strong bold imagery of the dance allows you to experience the atmosphere of being outside in a forest. Due to the accompaniment of found sounds, birds singing, a forest likes instrumental. This set such a tranquil luring concentrated ambience.
The dancers solo improvisation all weaved in as one movement and flowed together as unit even though everyone had their blue print way of moving . I found it interesting that the audience followed them onto the streets performing around the university campus sites as I have never witness a live performance of site specific piece.
The pastel pink and dusty brown dresses accompanied with brown legging. Such warm tones of colour reflect the season that it was perfumed in, which was auto. It is somewhat amusing to see them put on brown thick 1960s fur coats and willies to dance in. facing the harsh bitterness of English weather which I find it bazaar to dance in such weather. It was interesting to witness a site specific piece being performed at night the clarity of movement was still evident. The choreographer was not restricted to the time of day that her performance was shown; she challenged the boundaries of dance conventions. The dancers travelled in a robotic way from site to site and as you trawled with them having a small proximity between audience and performer you felt more involved as the audience.
The second part of the dance was performed in a great location of Coventry in open space that had wonderful historical medieval building scatted or emerged amongst the modern building. The various objects situated in the space created a lovely effect, enhancing and enlarging the movement of the dancers as it was perfumed on a wider scale the jumps and leaps were extenuated. There was a stone ball lined up in curve which was incorporated in their dance piece and became a part of the performance which looked fun and enjoyable. The ray of colourful light on the pavement created a shadowed effect. It was well structured and frequently fluid I noticed whilst viewing the piece it section flowed into each other. From my first experience of viewing live site specific work it was enjoyable to watch as well as strange the dancers were energetic so they kept the audience engaged
